WINSTED –DELANEY – Lora Lee Delaney, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 10, 2022 at her home. She was the wife of the late Ross Delaney for 34 years. Born April 12, 1953 in Wichita, KS; the daughter of the late Richard and Patsy (Menasco) Templin. Lora was a Special Education Teacher utilizing her caring, giving personality to assist others. She was employed by St. Mary’s College, Gingrich and Oak Hill for many years. She was a wonderful, kind person and will be deeply missed. She leaves her three sisters, Lisa Templin-Mack and husband Don Mack of Uncasville, Leslie Fournier of Norwich and Lita Sewer of FL; three nephews, Ryan Mack, Jacob Fournier and Jack Delaney; niece, Katie Fournier; close grandniece, Gwendolen Mack; sister-in-law, Barbara Delaney of PA; many close friends. She also leaves her beloved canine, Blackie who she enjoyed walking all around Colebrook daily. She loved her community and family there as well. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by their cherished dog, Whitey.
