Lola V. Jameson, nee Patterson, 80, of Troy, passed away Monday evening, April 14, 2003 at her home. She was born September 1, 1922 in Finley, Tennessee to Leonard and Jewel, nee Reddin, Patterson. She moved to Granite City, Illinois at the age of 3, then later moved to Troy, where she has lived since 1955.

Lola was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and the Beamers (Baptist Women’s Organization); she was very active in ministries Unlimited, where she was known as the Christmas cookie lady. She was a part of The Monday Canasta Club and was a very devoted member of “The Potluck Group” for more than 40 years.

Mrs. Jameson was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, who died August 15, 1990; her parents; a brother, Gerald Patterson; two sisters, Paulene White Funkhousen and Louise Graham Siver; and a grandson, David M. Kruse.

Surviving are a son, Ralph “Rusty,” and his wife Patty Jameson of Troy, IL; two daughters, Janet Jameson Kruse of Troy, IL and Cindy and her husband, Gary Adams of Troy, Missouri; a sister, Barbara Nemeth of Troy, Illinois, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
