Lola Risner Pullins Minor, age 89, of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away Thursday July 19, 2012 at the Jasper County Hospital. She was born in Royalton, Kentucky on June 10, 1923 to the late Elza Risner and Pearl Cynthia Spradlin. Lola’s first marriage was to Robert C. Pullins who passed away in 1991.
On April 14, 1979 in Rensselaer she married Olan C. Minor who passed away November 23, 1995. Lola attended both the Newland and Fair Oaks schools and graduated with the class of 1940. She was primarily a homemaker but also worked as a receptionist at the Jasper County Hospital for 15 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Rensselaer and the Jasper County Hospital Auxiliary.
Lola is survived by one son, Larry M. (Marlene) Pullins of Luck, Wisconsin; one brother, Max Risner of Florida, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two sons, Robert W. Pullins, infant son Charles Robert Pullins, two sisters and four brothers.
