Lola G. Mourer, 93, of Spirit Lake, passed away Monday, June 17, 2007, at Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake. She was born on December 26, 1913, in Centerville, Iowa, to Fred and Anna Sibley. Lola graduated from Centerville High School in 1931. She was united in marriage to Glenn O. Mourer in December 27, 1942, in Des Moines, Iowa. Lola and her husband, Glenn, owned and operated the Spirit Lake Bakery for eighteen years. She then went on to work for the Dickinson County Hospital until she retired at the age of 65. Lola enjoyed spending her spare time playing bridge. She belonged to several bridge groups in the Spirit Lake Area. Lola is survived by her daughter, Marianne M. Bogle, and her friend, Richard Popp, of Perkasie, PA.
