Lois V. Walter (Nee: McGee), lovingly know as NAN to many passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the age of 98. Lois was born in Springrun, PA and was a Burlington resident for over 60 years. As a young girl she walked 2 miles each way to a one room school house where she graduated with perfect attendance and awards in penmanship. She was a PTA member and collected for many charities over the years. She enjoyed Holiday and Sunday dinnerswith her family and friends, gardening, baking pies and trips to A.C.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents Hazel and James C. McGee, her loving husband: Peter F. Walter; daughter Donna Bond and brothers: Merle, Glen and Roy McGee. She is survived by daughters: Hazel Walter and Patricia (Fred) Walter; son in law Fred Bond; grandchildren: Peter Ekelburg, Danyell Ekelburg and Tracey Weincyzk (Gary); great-grandchildren Madelyn and Peyton Carey and several nieces and nephews.
