Mrs. Lois Tanner Shepherd Gobble, age 75, of Salisbury passed away Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Magnolia Gardens.
She was born April 18, 1932 in Banks County, Ga. The daughter of the late William P. Tanner and the late Ida Morris Tanner. Mrs. Gobble attended Mt. Ulla High School and worked for Hallyville Draperies as a sewing machine operator. She attended Trading Ford Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons Dennis Shepherd and wife Janet, William “Mark” Shepherd and wife Cindy, Steve Shepherd and wife Brenda all of Salisbury and Lorne Shepherd and wife Amy of Lexington; daughters Donna Keener and husband Joe and Ann Jordan and husband Thomas both of Salisbury; sisters Margaret Sechler of China Grove and Maggie Torres of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren also survive.
