On September 22, 2013, Lois (Watson) Schaefer passed from this life at Oxnard Manor Healthcare Facility where she had been cared for since July 2011. She was 84 years of age, and lived most of her life in Ventura County.
She is survived by sisters Reba Watson and Barbara Gray of Oxnard. Others include Delores Watson, sister-in-law of Oxnard, nieces Peggy Salas and husband Gene of Santa Maria, Monica Kliensmith of Oxnard, Pam Jacoby and husband Brook of Camarillo and Joyce Gauthier and husband Norm of Las Vegas. Nephews Dana Watson, Donnie Watson and Doug Campbell, all of Oxnard and Scott Watson of Santa Maria.
In her younger years Lois was outgoing, having the gift of being able to talk to anyone about anything, but especially about her dogs. She was loving and generous to both family and friends. We will all miss her very much.
