Muncie- Lois R. Smith, 90, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born on August 3, 1926, in Windsor, Indiana the daughter of Frank and Della (Gross) Shores.
Lois had married the love of her life, Melvin Daniel Smith on October 11, 1945, in Oakland California. Mrs. Smith became a homemaker and thoroughly enjoyed being a mother, a grandmother and great grandmother. These children were a source of inspiration and food for her soul!
Besides her husband of 71 years, Melvin, she is survived by two daughters, Debbie Tudor (husband-Richard), Muncie and Sandy Hahn, Anderson; one son, Daniel Smith, Muncie; five grandchildren, Stephanie Hahn, Carmel, Christopher Hahn (wife-Angela), Knoxville, Tennessee, Jeremiah (wife-Caitlin), Anderson, Daniel Tudor (wife-Beth) and Natalie Guzman (husband-Jon), both of Fishers; ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; nine siblings and one son in law James Hahn, Jr. in 2014.
