Lois was born April 23, 1934, in Salmon, Idaho, to Lester Clayton Frisk and Ivy Badel Hansen Frisk Higginson Bills. She grew up and attended schools in Grant and Rigby. She attended Rigby High School.
On October 15, 1952, she married James William Radford in Rigby, Idaho. To this union were born five children, Jeffery, Robert, Debra, Reed and Lawana. Lois and James made their home in Rigby, Idaho.
