Lois was born November 21, 1933 to Clifford and Nellie (Visser) McKinnon in Great Falls, Montana. She was raised in Canada until the age of 15, when her family made Great Falls their permanent home. She graduated from GFHS in 1952. Ten years later Lois moved to Denver, where she attended night school at the University of Colorado to learn accounting. She spent her entire career working in the accounting/bookkeeping field serving many different companies, both in Denver and Great Falls.
On September 29, 1979 Lois married Stanley H. Wardinsky. Stanley opened his whole life to Lois, including his three children.
Lois was deeply devoted to her beliefs and was very active with the Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of PEO, Skunk Wagon and Daughters of the Nile. In her spare time she enjoyed entertaining, cooking, quilting, reading and travel.
Survivors are her husband, Stanley Wardinsky; daughters, Stanlee (Robert) Dull and Jill (Greg) Norling; son, Fred (Peggy) Wardinsky; grandchildren, Robert, Erin, Jennifer, Andi, Mike, Russ, Jill Marie, Libby, Adam, and Annie; seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister, Arlene Aafedt.
