Lois M. Phillips, 89, of Anderson, passed away on March 23, 2016 at the Saint Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Anderson, IN. She was born on May 8, 1926 in Washington, Pennsylvania and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She was a homemaker and worked at Payless Grocery Store. She was a member of East Lynn Christian Church where she was very active in Christian Women’s Fellowship, loved singing in the Choir and served as Elder. She also was a member of the Willing Workers Home Extension Club and a lover of animals.
Lois is survived by her son, J. Michael Phillips, sister, Mary Ann (Bob) Howard, grandchildren, Jesse (Whitney Keesling) Phillips, Amber Phillips (Neil) Austin Emily Phillips (Chris) Kaufman, Jackson (Julie) Phillips, Allison Phillips, Jordan Phillips (Dan) Kaelin, Jonathan Phillips, Jada Phillips, Madison Phillips, 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way and special nieces, Elaine Weiner, Sarah Weiner, Holly Schipp, Chloe Weiner. She was preceded in death by husband, Jack Phillips, sons, Jim Phillips and Jeffrey Dean Phillips, mother, Jessie Mahan, father, Byron R. Mahan, brother, Byron Mahan, Jr.
