Lois Jean Lipford, 80, of Marianna , Fl. died July 5, 2012. She was born in East Bank, West Virginia Feb. 2, 1932 and lived in Jackson County most of her life. She is survived by her sons Mike Lipford of Marianna, Fl., Danny Lipford (Sharon)of Mobile, Al., 3 granddaughters Chelsea, Melanie, Emily and one grandson Chris. Also one brother Rex O’Dell of Logan, Ohio, one sister Edna MacDonald of Elkton , Maryland and special family friend Dolores Dease as well as a few special pets that she cared so dearly for including Midnite, Pee-wee, Sunshine and Trouble. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Daniel A. Lipford, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Jean worked many years in Marianna with Attorney J. Paul Griffith and went on to retire from Farley Nuclear Plant in 2000.
