Lois Lorraine Eilander, 85, of Newton died on Monday, October 25, 2021, at her home.
Lois, the daughter of George and Bessie (Spencer) Stier, was born on February 26, 1936, in Collins. She grew up in the Laurel area.
Lois is survived by her children, David Robinson of Newton, Carol Robinson of Newton, Leonard (Sheri) Stier of Grinnell, and Lloyd E. “Ed” (Kandi) Eilander, Jr. of Newton; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Patricia Lapin of California and Connie Powers of Tennessee; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Dee Kendall of Rockport, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd in 2007; three sons in infancies, Danny, Steven, and Dennis; two great-grandchildren, Isaiah Eilander and Dallis Harris; three brothers, Wayne, Hollis, and Irvin; and a sister, Cathy.
