Lois E. Bowes, 85, of Ottawa, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at LaSalle County Nursing Home.
Lois was born on March 12, 1928 in Wallace Twp., to Robert E. and Alma T. (Nelson) Bowes. Lois was the Switchboard Operator at Community Hospital of Ottawa for 42 years until retiring in 1996. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Rev. C. M. Bowes and Alvin E. Bowes and 4 sisters, Alice in infancy, Shirley Holden, Marjorie Bowes and Evelyn Tellefson. Pallbearers will be: Robert Bowes, Archie and Scott Boe, Steve Taylor, Rev. Ronald Jewett, and Vernon Johnson
