Lois Catherine Patrick, a long-time resident of Donnelly, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in Boise. She was 83.
Lois was born March 29, 1927 to Louis Bridgedale and Theresa May Flanagan Bridgedale in Bismark, North Dakota. Lois married Nicholas Ternes July 25, 1950 in Bismark, North Dakota. They made their home in Boise, Idaho and had seven children. Lois and Nicholas later divorced. She married Neil Patrick on November 19, 1966 and they were long -time residents of Donnelly , Idaho, where she was affectionately known as “Mountain Mama”. Neil preceded Lois in death in 1991. For the past few years Lois lived in Boise with her children Duane, Denise and Diane.
Survivors include her children, Deborah Wells of Vancouver, WA., Diane Howard of Boise, ID., Gordon Ternes of Mountain Home, ID., Denise Ternes of Boise, David Ternes of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, Duane Ternes of Boise, and Dessa Ternes of Donnelly, ID.; her sisters, Dorothy Hezeltine of Boise, Eunice Fox of Golden, CO.; her brother, Robert Bridgedale of Danville, CA.; 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Elaine Hall; and one brother, Eugene Bridgedale.
