Lois B. Chant (nee Bentley) died Friday, May 24th at the Masonic Home of New Jersey in Burlington Township, she was 93 years of age. Born on April 16, 1920 in Burlington, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Florence Bentley. A homemaker for most of her life, Lois had at one time been employed as a secretary for the U.S. Pipe Foundry and was a member of the Broad Street United Methodist Church of Burlington.
Wife of the late Harry S. Chant, who died in 1995, she is survived by her daughter and son in law; Nancy (Michael) Brown of Audubon, NJ as well as her two grandchildren, Erik and Amanda Brown also of Audubon. Lois is also survived by her nephews and niece; Samuel G. Bentley of Connecticut, John Bentley of Burlington Township and Lois Nitz of Connecticut.
