Lois Arlene Allwood, 76, of Webster, Florida, formerly of Three Oaks, died peacefully March 1, 2021. Her life began December 8, 1944 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to the second of four children born to William and Mary Behler.
Lois was a bookworm. She loved reading and could often be found in the library. She was known for her famous spaghetti sauce and her kids covet the “Spaghetti Sauce Pot.” She enjoyed watching and following sports, whether it was her kids or grand-kids school sports or watching the Summer and Winter Olympics. She also found entertainment in watching Dog Championships.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her children, Joe Louis Jackson, Jr. of Bradenton, Florida, Lori (Steve) Woerdehoff of Dowagiac, Chris Allwood of Sawyer, Bill (Jennifer) Allwood of Buchanan; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Billie Jean “BJ” Truhn of Three Oaks; and a host of nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Margo; and one brother, Anthony “Tony” Behler.
