Lois Ann Gulley, 80, of Flemingsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at her residence.

Born at Big Run on December 25, 1941, she was the daughter of Georgia Helen Gardner Conley and the late Brack Conley.

Lois was a farmer and a farmer’s wife.  She retired from the Fleming County School System where she worked as a cook for 20 years.  She was a member of the Kentucky Christian Holiness Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family, babysitting her grandchildren along with other people’s children.  She was big on raising a garden, canning, and she loved to cook.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Gulley; her five children, Georgia (Henry) Cropper, Regina Rose, Greg (Janet) Gulley, Kenney (Jennifer) Gulley, and Kay (Randy) Hargett; her eight grandchildren, Travis (Gidget) Cropper, Kyla (Hunter) Bush, Benjamin Gulley, Abigail (James) Thompson, Claire Gulley, Adam Hargett, Robbie Mitchell, and Tiffany Mitchell; her seven great-grandchildren, Preston Cropper, Zoe Cropper, Adelynn Cropper, Griffin Bush, Grady Bush, Phillip Mitchell, and Rebecca Lykins.  In addition to her mother Helen, she is survived by two of her siblings, Evan (Judy) Conley and Ronnie (Cathy) Conley; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her father Brack, Lois was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Conley; and her son-in-law, Karl Rose.
