Lois “Loi” Ann (Kermeen) Gapinski, 93, of LaVergne, TN, formerly of Peru, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at her granddaughter’s home just south of Nashville in LaVergne, TN. Lois was born July 15, 1927 to George and Julia (Madison) Kermeen. She married Theodore Alex “Buck” Gapinski on June 15, 1963 in Peru.
He passed away on September 6, 2017.Lois was a devout Christian and member of the First Baptist Church, LaSalle. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord by spreading His Word and serving others. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all she met. She cared deeply for each and every one of her patients as she worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide throughout the area, including Heritage Healthcare Center in Peru for many years.
Survivors include four children, Theodore Kelly McOmber of LaSalle, Lorean Evelyn McOmber of Nashville, TN, Lila Rose Gapinski of LaSalle and Theodore Allen Gapinski of Tacoma, WA; three grandchildren, Nico Anne Webster Clary, Jennifer Gapinski and Teddy Gapinski; three great-grandchildren, Summer Rose, Xyan and Zachary Clary; one sister, Rosemary Galvin of Galva and her brother, Ronnie Kermeen of Plano. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents and three sisters, Mildred, Betty and Patricia.
