Loeta Chaney,75, of Green Forest, AR. passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010. She was born in Carroll County on July 27, 1934, to the late Homer Youngblood and Lutie “Johnson” Youngblood. She attended school in the Fanning Community. In February 1956 Loeta was united in marriage to Arnold Joe Chaney and to this union 3 children were born. She took a lot of pride in being a homemaker. She was an excellent cook and spent hours making sure her children were well groomed and looking their best. Loeta enjoyed walks with her dogs and in her younger years she liked taking care of the farm animals and riding horses. Her greatest love was spoiling her grandchildren and spending time playing games with them. She is survived by her husband Arnold Joe Chaney, of the home, daughter, Janelle Compton and husband David, of Green Forest, sons, Joe Chaney and wife Doris, of Monet, Missouri and Dewey Middleton of Green Forest, one brother J.C. Youngblood, of Osage, AR, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Juanita Rand, brothers Billy Youngblood and Willard Youngblood.
