Lodene M. Farden died July 17, 2018. Lodene was born August 25, 1916 in Heuvelton, NY to Robert L. And Clara M. Mayne. Lodene grew up across the street from her future husband, Bernard D. Farden. They were married in 1938. Lodene attended Potsdam College; following graduation she began her teaching career first in Gouverneur and then in Massena, NY. Bernie and Lodene resided in Massena until their retirements. They spent their retirement years in Cocoa Beach, Fl immersing themselves in their new lives. Lodene was an avid golfer and bridge player.
Lodene was predeceased by her husband, parents and two sisters, Irene Connolly and Mary Todd.
She is survived by two sons, Dana (Linda) Farden of St. Petersburg, Fl. and William (Roxana) Farden of Oswego, NY.; four grandchildren, Deirdre Auchmoody (Todd Smolenski), Emily (Andrew) Hinman, John (Lee Richter) Farden and Zachary (Mary Donovan) Farden; nine great grandchildren: Ian and Aaron Auchmoody, Audrey, Liam and Benjamin Hinman, Jacoby and Jane Farden, Beau and Millie Mae Farden.
The family is grateful to the caregivers of Magnolia House of Cocoa Beach and to Hospice of St Francis for their skilled and loving care.
