DURHAM- Mr. Lockwood Floyd Chamberlain, 89, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Hock Family Pavilion.
Mr. Chamberlain was born November 12, 1932 to the late James and Annie Chamberlain, Sr. in Durham, NC. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Mr. Chamberlain worked many years with the City of Durham. Mr. Chamberlain was a member of Living Waters Christian Community. He loved fishing, sports, family, friends and God. Mr. Chamberlain will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Chamberlain is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Fowler Chamberlain of 62 years; daughter, Sharon Chamberlain; granddaughter, Kacie Chamberlain; sister, Shirley Cassidy; brothers, James Lee Chamberlain, Jr., Shuler Chamberlain, Claude Chamberlain and Billy Wayne Chamberlain.
Mr. Chamberlain is survived by his sons, Michael Chamberlain, Mark Chamberlain and John Chamberlain (Lindsay); daughter, Christi Todd; grandchildren, Brooke Chamberlain, J. T. Chamberlain, and Gracie Colley.
