Locia Nicole “Nicky” Wiant, 17, of Mt. Clare passed away suddenly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Sunday November 24th. Nicky was born September 17, 1996 in Weston, WV; daughter of Charles Thomas Wiant and wife Rebecca of Buckhannon and Joann Marie Everett Boley and husband Brian of Mt. Clare. Along with her parents, she is survived by her siblings Jay Wiant and children, Devon, Landon, Tyler; Dottie Wiant and daughter Heather all of Buckhannon; Georgann and Phillip Vanhorn and son Michael of Clarksburg; Amanda Boley and daughter Aleeah of Mt. Clare; Willard Thomas Wiant of Buckhannon; Justin Boley and daughter Starlynn of Weston, Jodi Boley of Shinnston; maternal grandparents, Carl and Georgia Childers Smith of Mt. Clare; paternal grandmother Dorthy Carpenter of Buckhannon, also several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Sandy Huffman. Nicky was a senior at South Harrison High School and worked for Burger King at Rosebud. She loved spending time with her friends, the Steelers and listening to music.
