Lloyd W. Allen Lloyd W. Allen, 78, of Centralia, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018, at his home. He was born September 2, 1940, in Centralia, the son of Joel Paul Allen and Margaret (Goodman) Allen.
He married Sherill Cernan in 1965 in Centralia and she survives him.
In addition to his wife of 53 years, Sherill Allen of Centralia, he is also survived by a son: Gregory Allen of O’Fallon; a brother: David Allen and wife Nancy of Centralia; a sister: Sara Heuberger of Kansas City, Kansas; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Joel Paul and Margaret Allen; and a brother-in-law: Glen Heuberger. Lloyd served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Centralia. He was an avid woodworker, carpenter, and golfer. He and his brother David were Co-Owners of Allen & Associates in Centralia for many years. Lloyd and Sherill enjoyed showing Golden Retrievers throughout the years.
