Lloyd Virgil Farnstrom of Hebron, NE the son of Paul and Anna (Hendrickson) Farnstrom was born March 1, 1922 in Gothenburg, NE. He departed this life Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Blue Valley Lutheran Nursing Home in Hebron, NE.
He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Gothenburg, NE.
He attended school and graduated from Gothenburg High School.
He was a member of the Hebron Lions, American Legion and Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron and served on many committees.
Lloyd married Juleen Hicken September 7, 1947 at the Lutheran Church north of Gothenburg, NE. This union was blessed with the birth of four children.
Lloyd enjoyed outdoor activities, hunting, golfing, fishing and carving diamond willow walking canes. He spent a lot of time pitching baseball to his grandsons and attending school events. He treasured his time with his friends, especially his friend Chuck who read to him almost everyday when his eyesight was failing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Juleen, brothers Roy and Charles, sisters-in-law Pat and Marge Fanrstrom, and nephew Bob Farnstrom.
