Lloyd Robert “Bob” Hughes, 75, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday February 23, 2017 at 7:00 am in Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus with his family by his side. Bob lived one day past his 75th birthday having been born February 22, 1942 in Shelburn, IN to Earl Hughes and Marianna (Sebring) Hughes. He was retired from the Vigo County Juvenile Center. Bob is survived by his daughter, Kim Hughes (Ed) of Terre Haute; sons, Mike Hughes (fiancé Jan Harrison) of Terre Haute and Chris Hughes (Cindy) of Brazil, IN; grandchildren, Leah, Caleb, Madison, Kenzie, Morgan, Tucker, Luc, Abby, and Logan, a great grandson, Kash and a sister, Nancy Lewsader of Riley. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Pamela Rene Hughes, who died April 19, 2016 and a sister, Joyce Barnett. Bob was a devoted husband, taking care of his wife during her illness and he enjoyed doing yard work.
