DOW, Lloyd, Kalamazoo. Eagerly anticipating the resurrection of the body, Lloyd passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010. Lloyd was born February 28, 1935 in Decatur, a son of Milton and Marguerite Maguire Dow and had lived in Kalamazoo for many years.

Lloyd was employed by the Decatur Public School system as a teacher for 23 years and as a principal for 10 years, retiring in 1994. He served his country in the United States Army, and was an active member of Oakwood Bible Church, where he served on the Board, Sunday School teacher for many years and was involved with Pioneer Missions in Florida through the church. On March 4, 1960, he married Marilyn LaRoy, who survives.

He is also survived by their sons, Douglas Pamela Dow of Kalamazoo, Daniel Kimberly Dow of Paw Paw and Darrell Katherine Dow of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Kendra Mark Huisman, Jared, Rachael Mc Elhose, Andrew, Allison, Sandra, Joshua, Mary, Sherry and Jackson; brother, Milton Wallace Joan Dow of Portage; sister, Jeanette Skinner of Decatur; nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents and three sisters, Evelyn, Margaret Ann and Jeananne.
