Lloyd Bee Davis, 86, of Bristol, passed away on Tuesday November 24, 2009 at the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Davis was born in Clarksburg on April 17, 1923, a son of the late Caris and Ethel Wilcox Davis; at the age of 20 he married Genevieve “Betty” Nicholas Davis whom he spent 44 years of dedicated marriage until her passing on July 31, 1987.
Lloyd was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a patient, caring, hardworking, christian man who was a good provider for his family. His kind and gentle spirit was reflected by the love shown to him by his family, neighbors and friends.
Mr. Davis graduated from Bristol high school and served his country in the United States Army serving in WW II.
