Lloyd Andrew Shabaiash, “Nazhikewigaabaw”, 56, of Hinckley, MN began his spiritual journey on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth. He entered this world in Sandstone, MN on September 8, 1957 the son of Joseph and Delphine (Benjamin) Shabaiash.
Lloyd loved being with children, spending time with his girls and his grandchildren. He was quite a joker who always had a funny comeback for everything. Lloyd really enjoyed watching his old movies which mainly included westerns like Billy Jack, Bonanza and John Wayne films. He liked to listen to country music and some of his favorites were Patty Lovelace, Leanne Rhymes and Shania Twain.
Family that Lloyd joins are his parents Joseph and Delphine and two of his brothers David and Dennis.
Those left behind to miss his spirit are his daughters; Sandra (Lon) and Sonya, brothers; Joe of Sawyer, Daniel (Pam) of Cloquet, Rodney of Sawyer, Les of Pine City, Roy of Hinckley, Donald of Cloquet, and Delbert (Billie Jo) of Sawyer, sisters; Linda of Cloquet, Lois of Sawyer, Rosalie (Neil) of St. Paul, and Ruth (Bill) of St. Paul, grandchildren; Dakotah, Jacob, Javier, Guadalupe and Graciella, a very close and longtime friend Paul Diver, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
