WALKER, Mr. Lloyd A. of Portage, MI. Died Tuesday evening January 31, 2012 at his residence. Lloyd was born January 5, 1929 in Northville, Michigan a son of George W. and Frieda M.Bolton Walker. During the Korean War, he served with the U.S. Army.
He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the Portage Public Schools for 18 years, retiring in 1991. He also attended the Pathfinder Church. On February 26, 1977, he was united in marriage to Phyllis L. Bullard Walker who survives. Also surviving, 7 children, Steven Jean Walker of Phoenix, AZ, Richard Walker, Kathy Walker, Sharon Aaron Kotrba, and Jay Johnson all Kalamazoo, William Teresa Johnson of Alameda, CA, and Mary Kay Wielenga of Portage; 5 grandchildren; a brother, Robert Nancy Walker of Frostproof, FL; and his former spouse, Mary Walker of Kalamazoo.
