People say a star shine’s it’s brightest at night on a clear sky. The star we knew shined his brightest on any day and any night. Man as many knew him by had a spark to him. Even with a few words he could change the mood and make you smile. Man was the light you could find in the darkest place.
Today we celebrate the life of L’Juenne P. Henderson Jr. L’Juenne was born March 23, 1991 to the proud parents, Lisa L. Hall and the L’Juenne P. Henderson, Sr. He was their only boy that’s how he got the nickname Man.
Man started his education at Hearst Elementary School. He later went on to Kennedy High School.
Man loved many things but nothing more than the feeling of being a father. February 1, 2010, his oldest, Tajuan Henderson, was born. A few years later on April 14, 2015, came his second son, Khalil Henderson. Last but not least his baby girl, Khylie Henderson, was born April 3, 2017. He was also a father figure to Laziyah Hardrick .
He may have left us physically but through his children, his legacy will forever live on.
As L’Juenne arrived at those heavenly gates he was greeted by his mother, Lisa; grandmother, Easter; grandfather, Roy; and a host of cousins and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his father, L’Juenne P. Henderson, Sr.; grandmother, Anna; grandfather, Larry; five sisters, Meghan, Jalisa, Marketha, Jasmine, and Easter; his three blessings, TaJuan, Khalil, and Khylie; his bonus blessing, Laziyah; the love of his life, Tyressa; the mothers of his children, Mesha, and Kateria; and army of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Today as we are dressed in our cash money outfits (as he would have called it). We say our goodbyes and just remember that Man is a star of light that not even death can dull.
