Lizzie “Liz” (Cooper) Williams, 88, of Middletown, wife of the late Sam “Buster” Williams Jr., passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Middlesex Hospital. Liz was born on October 8, 1925 in Hemingway, South Carolina to the late Ann (Thompson) and Wallace Cooper.
In 1966, Lizzie relocated to Middletown, where she was employed at Wesleyan University until she retired. Lizzie accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior.
