Lita M. Gonzales, age 84, of Clovis, NM, died Friday, October 3, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. She was born September 13, 1924 to Jose Reyes and Dolores Madrid in Wilson, TX. She is survived by three daughters and one son: Julia Gonzales of Clovis, NM, Mary Hernandez of Clovis, NM, Rosella Gonzales Marijo Baca of Rio Rancho, NM and Tom Gonzales Lala of Palm Coast, FL.; two grandchildren, Bernice Matthew Blanton and Dino Jennifer Gonzales both of Palm Coast, FL; six grandchildren, Timothy Gonzales, Lisa Blanton, Justine Blanton, Cory Carlson, Adam Gonzales and Hayden Blanton all of Palm Coast, FL; one great grandchild, Anthony Santos of Palm Coast, FL; two sisters, Mary Madrid of Clovis and Julia Vankirk of Alameda, CA; and numerous, nieces, nephews and other family.
Lita was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Gonzales; grandson, Ronnie Hernandez; son-in-law Ray Hernandez; five sisters, Dome Madrid, Emilia Sandoval, Aurora Gonzales, Juana Segura, Luisa Lopez; and, one brother, Santos Madrid.
Lita retired from Mental Health Resources, Inc. in 1987.
