Mrs. Bumpus was born in Decatur, Alabama on November 9, 1967 to Dorothy Scott and the late James Edward Wallace. She departed this life on January 12, 2018 at Decatur General Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital.
Lisa attended Hartselle High School and moved to Decatur her senior year and graduated from Decatur High School in 1986. She was a member of Mallard Creek P.B. Church where she served faithfully as a minister and usher. Lisa was employed by Wayne Farms Decatur-Further Processing Plant West for 10 plus years as a technician.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by: her husband, Jadediah Bumpus of Decatur; three daughters, Tyeshia Jones, Whitley Jones and Peneshea Owens all of Decatur, five grandchildren, Tyler Miland Jr., Tayden Miland, Torrian Miland, Triton Petty and Zachary Lilley Jr. all of Decatur;
mother, Dorothy Scott Silvia of Decatur; two brothers, Charles Wallace and Derrick Wallace of Decatur; five sisters, Carla Faye Orr, Denise Wallace, Erica Marks, April Orr all of Decatur and Melinda Green of Cleveland, OH; six aunts, Clara Allen, Francis (the Rev. Charles) Young, Minnie Scott, Marjorie Scott, Brenda Wallace all of Decatur and Brenda Wallace of Hartselle; one uncle, the Reverend Michael Allen of Athens and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
