Lisa Joan Meadows of Indian Head, MD, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at the Southern Maryland Hospital Center, Clinton, MD at the age of 49. She was born September 7, 1966, in LaPlata, MD.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father John Meadows and brothers David Meadows and Carl Meadows.
Lisa is survived by her mother Doris J. Meadows. She is also survived by her siblings Linda Hornby and Jim Meadows. She graduated from Lackey High School in 1984 and Charles County Community College.
Lisa was a Patient Legal Affairs Coordinator for St. Elizabeth Hospital, Washington, DC from 1984 to present.
She loved photography, antiques, thrift shop looking, books and knitting. She enjoyed being with friends and family and traveling, and was so full of life, she wanted to always be moving or involved in some project, and looked forward to what the next day would bring. The world was a better place for her being in it.
