Those left to honor Lisa’s memory include her husband, Steve Diggins of Marshalltown; her sons, Gregory Mikutis of Newton and Jeffery Mikutis of Kellogg; her daughter, Emily Diggins of Marshalltown; her parents, Larry and Bev Leach of Newton; her brother, Larry (Windy) Leach, Jr. of Montezuma; her sister, Annie (Kris) Stover of Newton; many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by her twin sister, Teresa Leach; her paternal and maternal grandparents; and her mother-in-law, Rosie Diggins.
Lisa D. (Leach) Diggins, the daughter of Larry and Bev (Williams) Leach, was born in Grinnell, Iowa. She was a graduate of Newton Senior High School Class of 1984. Lisa then attended DMACC to become a CNA. Lisa had worked for many nursing homes in the Newton area. She was a lifelong Newton resident until moving to Marshalltown five years ago.
Lisa was united in marriage to Steve Diggins on June 25, 2004 in Marshalltown, Iowa.
