Lisa was born in Muncie on February 2, 1962, the daughter of Rex Gene and Annabelle (George) Writtenhouse, and attended Southside High School.

Survivors include her husband of over 20 years, Virgil DeWayne Murray, Daleville; six children, Lindsey Murray (companion-Matt Caldwell), Daleville, Daniel Murray, Daleville, Virgil DeWayne Murray II, (wife-Queque), Anderson, Dawn Murray, Daleville, Matthew Murray, (wife-Sarah), Dallas, Texas, and Virjeanna Murray-Maddox, (Steve), Middletown; six brothers and sisters, Ronnie Lee Writtenhouse, Melita Jean Ehrilich, (husband-Mark), Tina Marie Snodgrass, (husband-Gerry), Michael Eugene Writtenhouse, Steven Ray Writtenhouse, and Ricky Dean Writtenhouse; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two special friends, Elsie Austin and Merrill Michael; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a great-grandson, Wyatt Jase Abbott.
