Gales Ferry, CT – Lisa A. (Middleton) Cook, 58, passed away peacefully on Saturday at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Buffalo, NY on August 28, 1955, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Iris Middleton. Lisa worked for many years in Human Resources for Pfizer in Groton and New London, and later for the State of Connecticut, Department of Children and Families.
Lisa loved to travel, and she and her husband took many trips South visiting family and friends. She was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to the soulful music of the 70’s, and was known on many occasions to dance the night away. She was a generous contributor to various non-profit organizations and was known as a ray of sunshine to all who knew and loved her.
Lisa is survived by the love of her life, William Cook, Sr. of Norwich, CT with whom she was united in marriage on February 14, 2011, and her loving daughter, Danielle Reneé Brown of Norwich CT whom she adored.
