Linzy Laughhunn, 91, of Centralia, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 at his home. He was born December 2, 1927 in Centralia, son of Linzy Laughhunn and Grace (Swaim) Laughhunn.

He married Phyllis (Huggins) Laughhunn on January 12, 1952 in Centralia and she survives in Centralia.

In addition to his wife of 65 years, Phyllis Laughhunn of Centralia, he is also survived by five sons and a daughter: Richard Bollmeier of Centralia, Debra LeComte of Clinton, Tennessee, Donald Laughhunn of Flower Mound, Texas, Linzy Ray Laughhunn of Belleville, Tony Laughhunn of Sherman, and Paul Laughhunn of Rapid City of South Dakota; twenty-one grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter: Linda Schwalm, a brother: Francis Eugene Laughhunn, and two sisters: Dena Creason and Delores Ballantini.

Linzy served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked in accounting as the assistant comptroller and office manager. He worked at Valley Steel for 13 years, Centralia Cartage for 16 years, Galore Lumber for a year and also Centralia Propane for a year.

Linzy had a very strong faith in his Lord and Savior. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs Fan. He loved playing golf, hunting, and fishing.

Linzy operated a family peach orchard for many years. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends.
