…A native of Magnolia, AR, he served in the US Army during WWII. Lindy was retired as a Transportation Specialist for Shell Oil Company and a member of New Palestine Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, raising cattle on his farm, raking leaves, squirrel hunting. and spending time with his family. Lindy was a loving and devoted husband, father, Granddaddy, great Granddaddy, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him..Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted children, Georgia Leigh (Delton) Bales and Andy (Mabel) Garrard; 3 grandchildren, Clayton (Vicky) Bales, Lauren (Ronnie) Rouse, and Sean (Tabitha) Garrard; 7 great grandchildren, Carter Johnson, Cady Bales, Avalyn Bales, Croy Bales, Easen Bales, Cannon Garrard, and Sutton Garrard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
