Born and raised on the family’s dairy farm, where he also raised his family, he was employed as a foreman with Clayton & Lambert in Buckner. He had many joys in life, first being his beloved Virginia and avidly enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially gardening. He loved to teach others the joy of gardening and share of his bountiful harvest.
