Lindel Luell “Bud” Carter, age 73, passed away at his home in Hammond, Indiana on April 30, 2010. Bud was a former resident of Parr, Indiana. He retired after 33 years at the Ford Plant, UAW Local #551. On April 27, 1956, in Carintoch, Mississippi, he was married to Krystyna Nowakowski who preceded him in death on February 2, 2007.
Survivors include three children, Jimmy (Barbara) Carter, Lorraine (Tim) Peters and Rick (Vicki) Carter, all of Hammond, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Bob (Jeannie) Carter of Parr, and Paul Carter of Michigan City, IN and two sisters, Bernice Maynard and Glenda (Skip) Geldien, both of Edmor, OH.
