Ms. Linda Watson Walden, 83, of Valley, AL went to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 22, 2016. She was born in Chambers County, Alabama on August 1, 1932 to the late Eugene and Belle Watson.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin (Chad) Butts; her grandchildren, Caitlyn and Jaci Butts, Beth Walden, Holly (Mike) Ballard, and Mandy Walden; her great grandchildren, Mikaela Banks, Devin Brown, Blake and Dawson Barrett, and Ben Ballard; her brother, Stanley (Nancy) Watson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind faithful friends, Wayne and Saundra Hood, Harold and Brenda Burkett, and Carolyn Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bud Walden and her son, Bruce Walden.
Ms. Watson grew up in the Hopewell Community and later resided in Riverview. She was a homemaker for many years and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God. She enjoyed reading her Bible and Christian literature and spending time with her family. She loved the Lord with all of her heart, always found the good in everyone she came in contact with, and enjoyed talking about the Lord to everyone she met.
