Linda Vitale, 61, of Wallingford, departed this life on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at St. Raphael’s Hospital in New Haven. She was the loving wife of the late Stanislau Vitale.
Linda was born on July 22, 1949, in New Haven, CT, a daughter of the late Benny and Rosemary (Mikolinski) Anderson.
In both her professional and personal life, Linda was passionate about caring for children. For many years she worked for CT Association of Foster and Adoptive Parents. Additionally, she was a foster parent for well over thirty years.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Jennifer Vitale of Wallingford, Melissa Nelson of California, Jaimie and Michael Sarenas of Wallingford, Amaro (Jr.) Vitale of New Haven, Paul Vitale of New Haven, Rosemarie and Jerimi Werner of Wallingford, Antoinette and Chris Morris of Wallingford, SonniLynn Vitale and Rob Barrios of Wallingford, and Felicia Vitale of Wallingford; her step children, John, Steven and Stanley Vitale and Theresa Paolella; her grandchildren: Dean, Jack, Jalen, Tristan, Megan, Whitney, Kyle, Samantha, Cody and John, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews; three brothers, James Anderson of Hamden, Robert Anderson of Rocky Hill and John Stobierski of Northford.
