Linda Mae Sullivan (68) of Bloomington, IN, peacefully passed away at home, Monday, January 14, 2013, from a valiant battle with cancer.

Linda was born in Linton, IN, July 10, 1944 to Forrest Workman and Esther (Shelton) & Maynard Stack.

Linda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in many different callings, including a devoted visiting teacher.

Linda worked at RCA for 17 yrs, loved being a professional nanny (14 yrs), & was a beloved door greeter at Sam’s Club for the last 11 yrs, where she made many friends, young and old, was known for always having a smile on her face and she especially loved the children, which felt her love.

Survivors include her husband, Michael L. Sullivan of 30 yrs, 2 daughters – Amy Rainbolt (Daniel) Stratton, (6 children & 1 grandchild due in July) of Queen Creek, AZ & Lisa Rainbolt (Scott) Gilbert, (4 children) of Johnstown, PA; one step-son and step-daughter- Michael J. Sullivan (2 children) & Michelle (Claude) Davis (4 children & 4 grandchildren) both of Oolitic, IN; 2 sisters- Sarah Gwyn of Linton, IN and Joyce Coomer of Solsberry, IN; 2 step-sisters- Betty (Bobby) Cox of Worthington, IN and Margaret (Bill, deceased) Meece of Indiananpolis, IN; and many nieces, nephews & cousins. Preceded in death by parents, grandparents- Addison & Minnie (Groomer) Workman and James Anderson & Della May (Greer) Shelton, nephew, Jeffrey Rainbolt and step-son, Scotty Wayne Sullivan.

The family wishes to thank IU Home Health and Southern Care Hospice for their kind and loving care; the many friends & neighbors who came to visit and Sam’s Club and for their wonderful support.
