Linda Sue Miley, 75, of Elkhart, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Goshen Hospital.

Linda was born on September 10, 1945 in Winston County, AL to Homer and Winnie (Roberts) Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sisters, Lucille, Cloa, Estelle, Mildred, JL, and Robert. Also, by a granddaughter, Shaila Phillips-Hibbard and 3 great-grandbabies.

Linda, affectionately known as “Mom” and “Granny”, is survived by her sons, Jeff  “Doug” (Autumn) Williams, Jim (Jill) Williams and Jack (Tonya) Wirick;  grandchildren, Justin (Jonelle) Williams, Jennifer (Corey) Towne, Jamie (Ryan) Williams, Jana (Chris) Pontius, Tyler Wirick, Jeremy (Kelsey) Phillips, and Bethany (Likhi) Salvador; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Jeraline (Erick) Merrill; and sister-in-law, Linda Williams. As well as her family found later in life, daughter, Stacy (Ken) Loughe and grandchildren, Kayla Freeze, Amanda Freeze and Kevin Loughe.

Linda moved to Elkhart with her parents in 1954. She was employed with Miles Laboratory for 34 wonderful years retiring in 2000. She was a member of That Church on The Rise in Elkhart. Linda loved the Lord and shared that love with many children through various mission trips to Honduras. She would help vaccinate and distribute medication to those in need.

Linda loved Southern Gospel music, and attended every concert that she possibly could. She was a passionate Alabama football fan (Roll Tide!) rarely missing a game. Most of all, Linda loved her family, friends and especially her Grand and Great-Grandchildren who she affectionately referred to as “My Babies”.
