Linda Sue Niedringhaus, nee: Wiesemeyer, 57, of Collinsville, Ill., born May 8, 1947, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Tuesday, February 22, 2005.

Mrs. Niedringhaus was a telephone operator. She spent her entire life in the Troy, Collinsville and Maryville area. She was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

She was a fun loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to garden and loved all the various kinds of flowers. She loved to travel and meet different people. You might say she was a “people person”.

Linda had a nickname for everyone. She called her grandson “Azpumpkins”.

Mrs. Niedringhaus belonged to the Pioneers of America. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Stella, nee: Howard, Wiesemeyer.

Surviving are her husband, Richard Niedringhaus, whom she married Feb. 15, 1969, in St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Ill., a son, Richard N. Niedringhaus of Collinsville, Ill., a daughter, Kristin (Craig) Whitehead of Collinsville, Ill.,four brothers, Gary Wiesemeyer of Troy, Ill., James Wiesemeyer of Alexandria, Va., Richard (Cherryl) Wiesemeyer of Troy, Ill., Randy (Tammy) Wiesemeyer of Troy, Ill., one sister, Mrs Patricia Ann (Fred) Husman of Millstadt, Ill., and one grandson, Logan Whitehead of Collinsville, Ill.
