Linda Ruth Gailey Messinger passed away in her home on December 22, 2012, following a long battle with cancer. Linda was born December 4, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Horace and Fay Gailey.
She married Steve Messinger March 29, 1980. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as Primary teacher, Young Women’s President, Relief Society teacher, and Relief Society President, in addition to other callings throughout her life. She taught at Ronald Reagan Fundamental School for 17 years, retiring in 2010.
Linda is survived by her husband Steve; children Michael (Angela), Nicole, Jason (Evelyn); brothers John and Clark; sisters Mary, Juanita, and Bonnie; and 5 grandchildren.
