Linda R. Banzhaf, 56, of 69 Overhill Road, passed away Friday, December 11, 2009 at her home following a long courageous battle with lung cancer.
Linda and her husband, Keith A. Banzhaf, celebrated their 35th anniversary on October 5th.
Linda worked for 22 years at the Pennsylvania College of Technology, currently as the secretary for the dean of the school of construction and design technology.
Linda was a 1971 graduate of Bloomsburg High School, a 1974 graduate of the former Williamsport Area Community College and a 1997 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Annunciation Church, and enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, bowling, cooking, four wheeling and being in the outdoors.
Born July 11, 1953 in Danville, she was the daughter of Peter and Margaret Ash Kassab.
Surviving besides her husband are her daughter, Erika K. Banzhaf at home; her parents of Bloomsburg; brothers, Peter (Diane) Kassab Jr. of Alexandria, VA and Steve (Michelle) Kassab of Petersburg, VA; and a sister, Mary (Gary) Rubenstein of Sanford, NC.
