NIELSEN, LINDA, November 29, 1945-November 21, 2021
Linda Sue Bailey Nielsen was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, the second daughter to Joe and Betty Bailey. She graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1963 and Arkansas Technical University in Russellville with a degree in Recreation Administration in 1967.
In Denver, she met her husband John and after a brief courtship they were married (over 46 years!). She is survived by John and their two daughters, Kirsten Nielsen Salter (husband, Jason) and grandsons Owen and Carter, and Alexis Nielsen Kenney (husband, Daniel) and granddaughter Isabelle.
Linda was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease several years ago, and as you know, this usually has an ugly, progressive outcome. She spent over three years at Village at Belmar, Memory Care. Unfortunately, the disease won out on November 21, 2021.
